Alavuden Kirkko is a Lutheran church located in Alavus, Finland. It is the largest wooden church in the country. The construction of the church started in 1822 and finished in 1833. The church is built in neoclassical style using 64 huge logs. The exterior walls are decorated with arcades and pilasters, and the window frames are made of stone. Inside the church there is an altar painting from 1838 depicting the crucifixion.
Alavuden Kirkko holds a variety of services, from Sunday morning worship services to Confirmation classes and Bible studies. It also offers baptisms, weddings and funerals. Special services are held in Advent, Christmas and during the summer months. The church also has associations for various age groups, as well as a café and a social evening for members of the congregation.
