It is one of the largest Coptic Orthodox churches in Australia and its congregation comes from many different Coptic backgrounds. The congregation is mainly an Egyptian Australian Coptic community, but there are also members from Ethiopia, Eritrea, Sudan, Lebanon, Jordan and other countries.
