Saha Püha Nikolause kabel (known as Saha Cable) is the first Fiber Optic Cable constructed and operated in Estonia. Built in 1994, it is a 14×42 fiber optic link which is jointly owned by the Estonian government and the telecommunications company Vladfoni, the largest in the country. It runs from Saha to Helsinki and has a connection to Stockholm, providing a reliable and secure means of data transfer. It is considered to be the foundation for the development of Estonia's telecommunications infrastructure and helped launch the country into the era of the internet.
