History:
The first Church of St Saviour in Saltley was founded in about 1790, when the area was still rural countryside. The original church was replaced by the present building between 1890 and 1891 and consecrated in October 1891. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in England.

The church is Grade II listed. It features a traditional layout with a chancel and nave. The pulpit and font are made from Caen stone and there is also a two-manual pipe organ.

The church offers a range of services each week, including Morning Prayer and an Evening Service. Additionally, they run a children’s ministry, called Kidzquest, which meets on Sunday mornings, as well as a youth ministry, called Unleashed, which meets on Friday evenings. They also have regular social events such as quiz nights and film screenings.This beautiful church in England has made a lot of significance in the past.
