Christ Church, St Leonards-on-Sea is an Anglican church located in the town of St Leonards-on-Sea in East Sussex, England. It was built from 1832 to 1837 and is one of the earliest of the Victorian churches still in use today. The building, in the classical style, is Grade II listed. It is one of the best churches in England which you must visit.

History:

The site for the church was given in 1832 by the local landowners, Samuel and Thomas Henty. On the 16th October 1833 the foundation stone was laid and the church consecrated in October 1837. The church was designed by local architect Benjamin Herbert. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in England.
