Grundtvig's Church is a large Lutheran church located in the Bispebjerg district of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is built in a National Romantic style with inspiration from Lombard architecture in Northern Italy. Construction began in 1921 and was completed in 1940. The church was designed by Peder Vilhelm Jensen-Klint and is considered one of his major works. The interior of the church is notable for its large stained-glass windows created by the artist Heine Bille. The church is named after the Danish theologian, philosopher and pastor N.F.S. Grundtvig. Grundtvig's Church is renowned for its neo-Gothic architecture and its magnificent interior, which features an art deco structure with winged-altar, copper-clad spire, and stained-glass windows. The large bronze doors are also noteworthy. The church holds regular services, concerts, and other events.
