History:

Jhandewalan Temple is a Hindu temple located in the Jhandewalan area of New Delhi. It is dedicated to Hanuman and is said to be one of the five temples of Mahabharata era in Delhi. The temple was founded by Pandavas during the Mahabharata period, and later renovated by a local ruler, Raja Jai Singh. The idol of Lord Hanuman is said to have been installed by Guru Ramanandacharya, a saint who came to Delhi from Vrindavan.
