The Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul – Brno In Czechia is the main Roman Catholic cathedral in Brno, Czech Republic. It is the seat of the Archbishop of Brno, who is one of the ten archbishops of the Czech Republic. The Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul was built in the Baroque style and was consecrated in 1734, making it one of the oldest cathedrals in the Czech Republic. The building was heavily damaged during World War II and subsequently restored. The Cathedral stands 85 meters tall and is comprised of three aisles with a sacristy and an atrium. The main altar features a depiction of St. Peter and Paul and contains relics from these two saints. The Cathedral also includes a crypt containing the tombs of Czech kings and nobles. The Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul offers public Masses every week as well as a variety of other services and events.
