The original building was founded in the early 15th century and served as a parish church for Catholic families in the area. In the late 17th century, the church was largely expanded and lightened up with Baroque decorations. St. Joseph first made its appearance as a patron saint in 1714. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Czechia.
