The La Serena Archaeological Museum, also known as the Museo de Arqueología de La Serena, is the first archaeological museum in La Serena, Chile. Established in 1969, the museum is dedicated to the understanding of the varied cultural history of the region. It is the gateway to the discovery and appreciation of the rich pre-Hispanic archaeological heritage encompassing the territory of the Huentelauquén Province and surrounding areas.
