History: The Ramotswa Pentecostal Protestant Church was founded in 1983 by the Rev. Mosogeko Magang, an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God, who had moved to the area in the late 70s. He began the church with just a few congregants and managed to spread the message of Christianity to the locals from Ramotswa. The church eventually grew and began to accommodate more members, eventually planting several other congregations in the towns of Tonota, Serowe, Palapye, and Mochudi. Facts : -The Ramotswa Pentecostal Protestant Church is affiliated with Assemblies of God Botswana and was officially inaugurated into the church in 2003. -In 2004 the church established a training school to train future ministers and evangelists. -The current membership of the church is estimated to be around one thousand. -The church also provides assistance to the local community in areas such as health, education, and food.
