HIS CHURCH is a Christian organization that was founded in 1969 by Pastor Stephen A. Madarasz. The vision for HIS CHURCH is to reach people through the Gospel and teach them to become faithful followers of Jesus Christ. HISTORY: In the late 1960s, a small group of believers met for prayer and fellowship at the Redding, Connecticut, home of Stephen and Ruth Madarasz. Based on the Biblical teaching of church planting, the group formalized into HIS CHURCH in 1969 with the focus of teaching, training and discipling people to become faithful followers of Christ. FACTS: Over its over 50 years of operation, HIS CHURCH has planted numerous sister congregations around the world. From one small group of people meeting in a Redding, Connecticut home, the church has grown to over 20,000 members across the globe, with congregations in the United States, Canada, Europe and the Caribbean. SERVICES: HIS CHURCH provides a variety of services and programs to equip and empower Christians to live out a life of faith in Christ. These include Sunday morning worship services, discipleship classes, leadership development, outreach events and small groups. The organization also sponsors weekly radio and television broadcasts, and weekly conferences throughout the United States and the Caribbean.
