The church was founded in 1983 by Pastor Manuel Vargas, who had a vision to reach the unchurched within the community and share the message of Jesus Christ with them. For many years, the church held services in a converted warehouse, but in 1995, Eloyi purchased six acres in Mission, Texas, and constructed the current church building. Today, Eloyi has become a pillar of the community, providing spiritual and practical support to those who are in need.
