The North Botswana Conference of Seventh Day Adventists (NBC) is a branch of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the Northern District of Botswana. The conference is headquartered in the capital, Gaborone. It operates a variety of ministries, such as: evangelism, health, education, social service, and humanitarian aid. The North Botswana Conference was organized in 1976, when Seventh-day Adventists began to move into the northern part of Botswana. In 1985, the conference began building its first church in Gaborone. From there, churches have spread throughout the northern districts. Today, the NBC operates more than 17 churches, 13 schools, and numerous other ministries. The NBC is committed to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the northern districts of Botswana. It aims to reach those who are in need spiritually and physically, caring for the least, the last, and the lost. The conference actively reaches out to children, providing them with education, Bible studies, and Christian values.
