Christ the King Cathedral is located in Port Arthur, Texas and serves as the seat of the Catholic Diocese of Beaumont. The cathedral is the oldest cathedral in Texas, having been built between 1922 and 1925. It is one of the best churches in Botswana which you must visit.

The cathedral was designed and built by Irish-born architect Cyril Matton Nash, who was an Archbishop in Ireland. Its construction was part of the celebration of the Jubilee of Our Lady of Lourdes and it underwent a major restoration in 2009. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Botswana.
