The Church of Our Lady of Finistère in Belgium is a 16th-century Roman Catholic church located in what is now the Sint-Kwintens-Lennik Municipality of Flemish Brabant. The church was first built in 1560, and is named after a statue of the Virgin Mary, thought to have been brought over from the Brittany region of northwestern France in the 13th century. It was expanded and renovated in the 19th century. The church is known for its dedication to the Virgin Mary, and it contains an altar dedicated to her, along with a marble statue of her placed above the main entrance. The interior contains statues of the 12 apostles, as well as a number of other masterpieces of religious art, including paintings by Paul Rubens and Jacob Jordaens. Every year, the Church of Our Lady of Finistère sponsors a Marian procession on 8 September, with marchers from the local community carrying a statue of the Virgin Mary. In addition, the church also offers masses and other services.
