Tserkov' Vvedeniya Vo Khram Presvyatoy Bogoroditsy (The Church of Entry into the Temple of the Mother of God) is a Russian Orthodox church located in Moscow, Russia. The church was built in 1684 by order of Tsar Feodor III for the celebration of his mother's name day. It is one of the most famous churches in Russia, and the site of much religious activity.
The exterior of the church is made of pink stone and is decorated with figures of saints. Inside the church are detailed frescos and wooden iconography in the centuries-old Russian style. Above the main entrance of the church is a 15th century iconostasis with a fresco of the patron saint of the church, the Mother of God.
The Church has three services each Sunday. During the six days of the week, the church is open to visitors and pilgrims. Priestly and clerical blessings are offered throughout the day. The church is also home to a number of spiritual education and charitable organizations, such as Sunday school and a soup kitchen.
The church also hosts events such as liturgies, processions, concerts, and other religious activities throughout the year. The church is open for weddings and baptisms, and people can come to the church to light a candle and pray for whatever cause they wish.
