History:

The Seventh-day Adventist Church was founded in 1863 in Battle Creek, Michigan, by a group of former Millerite Adventists, led by Joseph Bates and James and Ellen White. Over the following decades, the church experienced tremendous growth, both in the United States and abroad. By the end of the 20th century, it had become a world-wide church with close to 11 million members in over 200 countries. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Belarus.
