The Roman Catholic Diocese of Barbados is an ecclesiastical jurisdiction in Barbados in the Caribbean region. It was established in 1942 and its current bishop is Robert Michael Kidd. The diocese serves the Barbadian and Caricom Catholics, representing approximately one-eighth of the island's population. The diocese has numerous parishes located throughout Barbados. It runs two schools, three convents, several health care facilities, and many other programs for its members. The Diocese also supports a growing number of lay movements, international retreats, adult faith formation and vocation programs, apostolate of prayer for vocations, special needs ministries, and outreach to the poor and marginalized.
