Brief History:
is a historical Mosque located in the historical city of Dinajpur, Bangladesh. It is a beautiful brick building with an imposing curved shape. The mosque was built during the Mughal period in 1638 AD. Its main chamber houses a large square-shaped prayer hall. The prayer hall is surrounded by three separate chambers, each of which has 12 columns, and by six turrets. The mosque is decorated with elements of Hindu, Islamic and Bengali art. The central courtyard of the mosque has a stunning multi-colored panel work. The mosque also has an extensive collection of ancient coins and coins from the Mughal, British, and Chinese periods. The mosque is currently used as a place of worship and is open to all visitors throughout the year. It is one of the most famous mosque in Bangladesh which you must visit.

The Ghoraghat Jame Mosque is a monumental Mughal era mosque located in the city of Ghoraghat in Dinajpur district, Bangladesh. Constructed during the reign of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb, the mosque is built out of local bricks and decorated with intricate terracotta ornamentation. It has four octagonal towers and a large central dome with four corner minarets. The main prayer hall of the mosque is enclosed in a large rectangular courtyard with large arched entrances on the four sides. A large platform is located in the center of the courtyard and is used as a place of worship for the devotees. The walls of the mosque are adorned with intricate floral motifs and tiled with colorful glazed tiles. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
