Bogra Central Jame Mosque is one of the oldest mosques in Bangladesh. It was built in 1816 by the Mughal Emperor Tipu Sultan, commissioned by the Afghan Governor of Bogra, Nawab Mirza Miah. The mosque consists of three domes, in which each one is bigger than the other and eight minarets. By Air: The closest airport to Bogra is Saidpur Airport, which is around 80 kilometres away. Direct flights depart from Dhaka every night.
