Surb Hakob Church of Kanaker is an Armenian Apostolic church located in Kanaker, Armenia. This church was built in 1895 and is a single-nave basilica. St. John's Cathedral is also located in Kanaker, but Surb Hakob Church of Kanaker is said to be the oldest church in the area. The church was constructed in the medieval Armenian style brickwork during the 19th century by the local community and was dedicated to Saint John, who is the patron saint of Kanaker.
The church is made up of the single-nave basilica with a domed roof. The walls, columns, and vaults are made of white ashlar and red brick. The altar was constructed in Armenian makar and red house marble.
