Aghjots Vank is an Armenian monastery located in the village of Aghjots in the southeastern part of Armenia. It was founded in 1252 by the Zakarian brothers who were members of the Armenian royal family. The complex consists of two churches, several chapels, a bell tower, and a cemetery. The monastery is known for its elaborate stone carvings, frescoes, and manuscripts. The main church, the Church of Transfiguration (Վերածնկալությունը եկեղեցու), was built in 1695 and is renowned for its murals and wall paintings.
