History:

The Vallnord Pal-Arinsal ski resort was first established in the late 1990s when Andorra's government announced plans to construct a European-style ski resort. Up until then, skiing in the country had been limited to the modest ski areas of Arcalis and Ordino. To help fulfill the government's goal, a partnership was formed between French skiers, who brought experience in creating modern ski resorts, and local Andorran investors, who provided financial support for the project. The resulting ski resort, which was named Vallnord Pal-Arinsal, gradually grew in size over the following years. In 2006, the lifts were extended to the summit of the resort, nearly doubling the amount of available ski terrain. Additional lifts, pistes, and ski runs were also added, and several pisted areas were re-graded for a steeperProfile. In addition, the base and summit stations were upgraded with new amenities to accommodate increasing ski tourism, and two dedicated leisure zones were created. Today, Vallnord Pal-Arinsal is one of the premier ski resorts in Andorra, boasting more than 42 km of marked ski runs, all served by an efficient modern lift system. The resort is particularly renowned for its efficient snow-making machines and reliable service, which help to ensure a spectacular ski experience for all levels of skiers and boarders. The resort also offers a wide range of activities and facilities to cater to visitors of all ages, such as ski classes, a snow park, restaurants, cafés and bars, and a variety of accommodation options. Whether you’re looking for an exhilarating ski holiday or simply some much-needed R&R, Vallnord Pal-Arinsal is the perfect getaway destination.
