History:

Vallnord Ordino Arcalís bike park is located in the small mountain principality of Andorra, nestled between Spain and France in the eastern Pyrenees. The history of the park dates back to 1967, when the first dedicated mountain biking trails were built in the Valira Dell Norte Valley in the commune of Ordino. The park was officially opened in 2000 with 15 kilometers of trails and by 2003 a further 10 kilometers had been added. The park was a success and continues to expand today, with more than 40 kilometers of bike trails and an additional freeride area. In 2014 the bike park was further enhanced by the addition of a dedicated downhill track and several features for the freeride enthusiasts. In 2016 the park opened a purpose-built 4x track and has since become a great destination for mountain bikers of all levels. The most recent addition to the park is the Buia Bike Park, which was opened in 2018. Buia Bike Park is the first of its kind in Andorra, and it provides 4 downhill tracks as well as an e-bike track. The park also has a retail shop, a bar and a food truck, as well as a bike wash and repair facility.
