The Casa Cristo Ethnographic Museum in Encamp, Andorra was founded in 1987 as a rural cultural museum to preserve the traditions, history, and culture of the area. The museum was created by the local parish along with the Institute of Andorran Studies, in response to the growing demand for museums to reflect the specific culture of each parish and the need to preserve the rural cultural history and heritage of Encamp. The museum is situated inside the 18th century house known as 'Casa Cristo'. Over time, the museum has grown and expanded its collection and mission to include archaeological artifacts and folk art from various periods of Andorra's history. The museum is divided into two sections. The first section is dedicated to the history of Encamp and contains artifacts and objects from the 16th to 19th centuries that reflect everyday life in the village.
