The worship method at the Yaganti Uma Maheswara Temple is similar to that of most Hindu temples and follows the Vaikhanasa Agama of temple worship. First, devotees take a ritual bath and perform the ablutions outside the temple. after that They offer flowers, fruits and incense to the deity i.e. Lord Shiva. The priest adds to this offering a pooja known as the Abhisheka Pooja.
