The worship method of Chennakesava Swamy Temple in Srikakulam in Andhra-Pradesh follows the paasupu saamajika pooja tradition. The ritual is performed five times a day and starts with Nadaswara chanting and ends with Aarti around midnight. Kohlai is the most important part of the ritual where raw materials and offerings are offered to the deity amid chanting of mantras and singing of Bhajans.
