The worship method at Maddi Anjaneya Swamy Temple is traditionally based on Hindu Vedic practices. The main rituals observed include ghee lamp offerings, Sankalpam, Abhishekam (oblations of water, milk, and honey, flowers, fruit, and other items), Kalasarchana (oblations made with water and flowers held in a pot or kalasam), and Rudrabhishekam (special puja performed with the chanting of Rudra mantras). These services are usually performed by priests and devotees on a regular basis. Other rituals performed as part of the main temple ritual includes Sarva-Dina-Santhi (auspicious occasions celebrated throughout the year), Panchakhadana (five fold offerings), Lakshmi Puja (worship of Goddess Lakshmi), and Satyanarayana Puja (worship of Lord Vishnu).
