Horror Story of Gangtey Monastery
It was a windy night when I arrived at the Gangtey Monastery. The sun had set, and the only light illuminating the old building was the bright moon in the sky. I shivered as I stepped inside, feeling the cold dampness of the centuries-old stone walls.
I stood in what seemed like an eternity of silence, as if time had stood still. Suddenly, the hair on the back of my neck stood up as I heard a faint whisper from the darkness. Then, like the whisper, the sound of chanting could be heard. Chilling me to my very core.
Frightened, I found myself beginning to walk deeper into the building, my eyes searching for the source of the sound. After what seemed like an eternity, I found myself standing before a darkened altar, where a hooded figure was performing a ritual. The figure’s face was hidden in the darkness, and the only thing that could be seen were its glowing red eyes.
The chanting grew louder as the hooded figure turned its glowing gaze towards me. Paralyzed with fear, I watched as the figure extended an arm towards me and began to speak in an old and ancient language.
“Be warned,” the figure spoke, its voice echoing off the walls. “These walls hold a secret of ages past. A secret that cannot be revealed until after we are gone. Now, you must leave and never return.”
My heart racing, I ran from the monastery in fear, never looking back. But the memories of that night still haunt me to this day.It is one of the most haunted places in bhutan
