According to Tussan Lingam, a devotee of the Mandir, devotees come to the temple to pray, meditate, self-reflect and seek divine intervention in their lives. The ritual of “Puja” is a prayer combined with ardent devotion reserved in the form of chanting mantras, performing parikarma (a kind of circumambulation around the deity), and burning incense and offering flowers to the idol. Following this, devotees also offer cooked Prasad (an offering to the goddess) to seek blessings.
