Worship Method:
At the Shri Lakshmi Narasimha Kovil in Rivière des Anguilles, Mauritius, devotees usually offer prayers and worship to Lord Narasimha. The worship begins with offerings of flowers, incense, fruits and camphor which are placed at the feet of the deity. The priest then chants mantras while ringing the bell. This is followed by blowing the conch shell, chanting of the Vishnu Sahasranamam and offering of various other items such as rice, coconut, ghee and sweets. The devotees then prostrate before the deity and offer deep supplication to the Lord for all the struggles in their lives.
