Zenjibu-ji is a syncretic Buddhist temple practice combining elements of Zen Buddhism, Pure Land Buddhism, and Shingon Buddhism. At Zenjibu-ji temples, visitors participate in a variety of rituals including sekimyo-e, kinrin-goma, amida-nensho, kanjo-soji, kaimyou-e, sankon-zazen, and gozan-no-ge. Each of these rituals has its own specific set of practices and objectives. During sekimyo-e, practitioners perform rituals and meditations to harmonize their energy with the three jewels of Buddhism: the Buddha, Dharma and Sangha.
