Tavrichesky Palace is a Baroque-style palace located in St. Petersburg, Russia. Constructed in 1783 by the Italian architect Antonio Rinaldi, the palace was designed for Count Pyotr Sheremetev and served as the primary residence of one of Russia’s wealthiest noble families until the Russian Revolution of 1917. The palace suffered severe damage during the Siege of Leningrad in World War II and was used as a garage and warehouse during the Soviet era. It has since been restored and is now used to host a variety of cultural events, including concerts and exhibitions.
