Stalin's Bunker in Moscow is a nuclear-proof bunker built under the direction of former Soviet leader Joseph Stalin in the 1950s. It is located beneath the subway station at Kurskaya in Moscow, Russia. The bunker was designed to be capable of withstanding intense bombing and nuclear fallout and to maintain safe working conditions even after a nuclear attack. It was never used during any kind of attack and underwent very few renovations until it was discovered by the public in 2017. The bunker consists of three levels and features multiple offices, bedrooms, laboratories, and bomb shelters. It was equipped with the latest communication technology and enough supplies to support up to 500 people for a month. The bunker was hidden from public view until it was discovered in 2017, and it remains off-limits as much of the structure has decayed due to age.
