St Brigid's Church Carnhill is a Roman Catholic church located in the Carnhill area of Derry Londonderry, Northern Ireland. It is dedicated to St Brigid of Kildare, who is remembered in the Irish diaspora as the founder of the nation's first convent in Kildare in the 5th century. The church was built in 1959 and is currently served by the Derry Diocese. The church is renowned for its traditional Irish music performances and for the annual Easter Sunday music festival, held each year on the first Sunday of Easter. The church also hosts a variety of other events, including adult and children's events throughout the year, such as language classes and workshops. As of 2019, the church is served by Father Thomas Casey, who has been with the parish since 1997.
