Ras Mohammed National Park in Sinai is a national park located in the Sinai Peninsula of Egypt, where the Red Sea meets the Gulf of Suez. It is the only national park in the country, and one of the first throughout the region, to be established as a natural sanctuary and bird refuge. The park has a great diversity of marine life, and was named after the cape of Ras Muhammad, the most southern point in the Sinai Peninsula. It is a major tourist attraction for adventure and diving enthusiasts, as well as an ideal spot for fishing. The park is well known for its beautiful corals, marine creatures and rare and endangered species of birds. It is also known for the breathtaking cliffs, cliffs overlooking the bay and a lush environment of mangrove forests.
