The Pyramid of Merenre's mother Neith at Saqqara is a 6th-Dynasty mortuary monument located just south of the dashur pyramids. It dates back to around 2450 B.C. and is named after Merenre's mother, Neith. The pyramid was built during the 6th Dynasty and is the only known pyramid dedicated to a woman. The pyramid is made of limestone and has two entrances, one at the north and one at the south. It is believed that the pyramid was originally over 30m high and had a square base with four stairways, leading up to the entrance. Inside, there are several chambers and passageways. The pyramid is said to be the largest of its kind from the Old Kingdom and is still in reasonable condition despite the centuries. The pyramid is currently a tourist attraction and is open to the public.
