is one of the Eight Great Ancient Temples of China and is located in the northern suburbs of Chengde City, Hebei Province in northern China. The temple was built during the Qianlong Emperor (reign from 1735 to 1796) of the Qing Dynasty, and is a grandiose complex encompassing over 300 acres (120 hectares) of land. It comprises nineteen large halls and pavilions, making it the second largest temple complex in China, after the Beijing's Forbidden City. You can take the G95 Expressway from Beijing to Shandong Province and then drive along the G208 National Highway for one and a half hours until you reach Mengyin County. 2. You can also take the Beijing-Shanghai Expressway from Beijing to Jining City in Shandong Province. From Jining, take the China National Highway 121 for about 1.5 hours until you reach Mengyin County. By Train: 1. You can take a train from Beijing West Railway Station to Jining Railway Station.
