The Monastery of Saint Paul the Anchorite is a Greek Orthodox monastery located in the historic region of Macedonia, Greece. Founded in the 11th century by the Vatopedi Monastery, the Monastery of Saint Paul the Anchorite is a holy site dedicated to the memory and teachings of Saint Paul the Anchorite, who was renowned in the late 4th century as a hermit and forerunner of the Byzantine Christian ascetic movement.
