Konsen-ji is a Shinto shrine located in the Chikugo region of Japan. It is known for its unique worship methods, which involve the worshipper clasping their hands in prayer, bowing three times, clapping three times, and making a special offering. More specifically, the worshipper should place their hands in a cup-like position, form a triangle with their thumbs and forefingers, and raise them up to their chin before bowing. After bowing three times, the worshipper should clap three times in a quick and firm manner. Finally, the worshipper should make a special offering such as an item they wish to be blessed, money, or food.
