Located in the Azarita area of Alexandria, Egypt, the mosque was built in 1284CE by Saif El-Din Abul Abbas in memory of the famous Sufi sheikh Abu'l Abbas Ahmed Ibn el-Mursi, who passed away in 1286CE.
