History:

Mirador de La Cabrera is located in Miranda State, in the hills of El Hatillo Municipality, Venezuela. The name "Mirador de La Cabrera" (Spanish for “Viewpoint of La Cabrera”) is derived from the homonymous farm, close to the viewpoint, and which during a certain time, was owned by a family with the last name of Cabrera. Mirador de La Cabrera is at the top of hills of El Hatillo, and at just 8 km of Caracas. With its 1.256 meters of altitude, it has become by its beauty and it’s stunning landscape, one of the favorite natural landscapes of Caracas.The viewpoint and the surrounding areas are part of the Washington Heights Foothill Conservation Area of El Hatillo Municipality since 2004, when it was created by the City’s Mayor Jorge Rodríguez. The conservation area and the viewpoint are one of the main tourist attractions of El Hatillo and the Miranda State.
