The garden contains many masterpieces of sculpture from the Renaissance and Baroque periods, as well as contemporary works. The garden was the brainchild of a committee led by Piazza Cardinal Silvio Oddi and a group of local sculptors. They envisioned a space where art from the city’s prestigious museums and collections could be seen in an outdoor setting. The sculptures are arranged in a series of terraces, presenting pieces of different styles and periods in an interesting mix.
