Worship Method:
The Devprayag Raghunath Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Raghunath, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. This temple is located in Devprayag in Uttarakhand and is a popular pilgrimage site for Hindus. The temple follows Ratri Puja and daily Puja rituals in the morning and evening. The priests start the worship with Raghunath Arati and Utsav Mandap Puja. During the Arati, the priests are supposed to offer flowers, incense sticks and aarti with lamps. After the Arati is over, the prayers and mantras are chanted for the deity. Following this, the priests offer prasad to the Lord. Apart from Arati, daily puja rituals also include offering of food and flowers to the deity, singing hymns and performing rituals like Abhishekam and Pushpanjli. At the time of the Utsav Mandap Puja, the priests offer sandalwood paste to the Lord and the devotees, participate in dancing and singing of devotional songs dedicated to the deity. During the Puja, special offerings like the nine-day Bhog made of fruits, dry fruits, flowers are offered to the Lord.
