The Naina Devi Temple in Nainital follows the Shaivite sect of Hinduism. Devotional music is played at the temple, and most pilgrims circumambulate the temple and perform puja rituals to honour the deity. Offerings such as flowers, fruits, incense, and coconut are made to the deity. Aarti is performed three times a day during special occasions.
