History:

Girija Devi Temple is an ancient temple located on the banks of the sacred river Ganga in Kankhal near Haridwar in Uttarakhand, India. The worship method of the Girija Devi Temple in Uttarakhand follows the traditional Vaishnavite style of worship. This temple follows a system of daily puja & regular bhajans i.e. devotional songs. On certain special occasions such as festivals, the temple organises a special aarti ceremony and kirtans.
