Worship Method:

The Radha Damodar Temple is home to one of the most popular forms of worship in Vrindavan: the daily "Krishna Puja." Each day, from early morning to late night, devotees of Krishna gather in this temple to perform traditional Hindu puja— a ritual of prayer and offering honoring Krishna and his consort, Radha. This ritual is based on the ancient Vedic principles of offering one’s “dharma” (duty) and “bhakti” (devotion) to the Supreme Lord. The puja includes chanting mantras and bhajans (devotional songs) while offering various items like fruits, flowers, sweets, incense, etc., to the deity. At the end of the puja, devotees take the prasad (sacred food offered to the deity) and then partake in that offering. This puja is often accompanied by sankirtan (group singing of devotional songs) and kirtan (reciting of mantras). The Radha Damodar Temple has become a significant pilgrimage site for Krishna devotees all over the world and continues to draw thousands of pilgrims each year.
