St Matthew's Church, Perry Beeches is a Church of England parish church in the city of Birmingham, England. It is part of the wider Birmingham Diocese and falls within the Deanery of Birmingham. The church is a Grade II listed building and was completed in 1808. It is one of the best churches in England which you must visit.

History:

The church was built between 1804-1808, and the original foundation stone was laid by Lady Anne Beeches Wombwell in 1804. It was designed by the local architect Samuel James in a Neoclassical style, and consists of a nave, chancel and an octagonal vestry. The church underwent a major restoration in 1881. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in England.
