St Nicolas Church, Pevensey is a Grade I listed parish church in the Diocese of Chichester in the town of Pevensey, East Sussex, England. It stands on Church Hill in a position believed to have been occupied by a church as early as the 6th century AD. The present building dates from the 13th century and is a combination of Norman and Early English styles. The history of St Nicolas Church is thought to date back to the 7th century and an adjacent early Saxon fort. The present building was constructed by the Normans in the 12th-13th century, and consists of a nave, chancel, south porch and small baptistry, containing some 15th century pews. The church is part of a Church of England benefice comprising Pevensey, Westham, Ninfield and Hankham. Services are held twice a month at St Nicolas Church, Pevensey and include Holy Communion and Morning Prayer.
